HAZAIRIN: Journal of Legal Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the development and dissemination of knowledge in the field of law. This journal serves as an academic forum that facilitates the exchange of ideas, research findings, and critical analyses from scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students concerned with the dynamics of law in various aspects of society.
Inspired by the intellectual legacy of Hazairin, one of Indonesia’s most prominent legal scholars, this journal seeks to bridge the traditions of national law with the development of global legal thought. Through an interdisciplinary approach, Hazairin: Journal of Legal Studies not only examines the normative aspects of law but also explores the relationship between law and its social, cultural, political, and economic contexts, as well as other contemporary issues.
The primary aim of this journal is to foster a deeper understanding of the role of law as an instrument of justice, rights protection, development, and social transformation. Accordingly, its publications are expected to contribute significantly to the advancement of legal scholarship while supporting the creation of an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable legal system in the midst of globalization and societal change.
As an academic platform, Hazairin: Journal of Legal Studies welcomes manuscripts across a wide range of legal disciplines, including but not limited to criminal law, civil law, constitutional law, administrative law, international law, customary law, Islamic law, and law and technology. All articles undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance.

Jurnal ini berkomitmen untuk menghadirkan kontribusi ilmiah yang memperkaya khazanah pemikiran hukum sekaligus menjadi referensi akademik bagi peneliti, praktisi, dan pembuat kebijakan.

Ahkam: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah is published by the Faculty of Sharia & Law UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Sharia Scientists and Scholars (HISSI). This scientific periodical specializes in the study of Islamic Law. Since 2019, the journal has been published twice a year in June and December.
